What maintance do I need to do for a 2005 Bandit 150cc scooter that has been sitting for 2 yrs?

It's in great shape with only a 1000 miles on it, but it's just been sitting for 2yrs and hasn't been running.

The service you need to depends on if it was put away right last time it was used, usually when you leave something for that long if it is a 2 stroke engine you have to drain the gas because it goes bad. But I,m going to assume that your scooter is a 4 stroke engine, you need to check the following:
1. check the oil if its black or dark brow and seems dirt you need to change it.
2. check all of the filters on the scooter such as the air filter if its dingy brown clean it or easier just replace it.
3. check the spark plugs if they are burnt of covered in crap replace them.
4. you need to lubricate all the moving parts such as the suspension and cables and if it is chain driven the chain.

Finally you should start it, and if it doesn't run right or at all take it to a motorcycle shop or a mechanic and have them look at it
