How do I get more speed out of my electric scooter?
I have a 280w 2300 RPM electric scooter that I bought used from craigslist and wanted to know how I can get more speed out of the scooter?
I've been researching online and somewhat have come to understand that to achieve my expected 25+ mph, I need to increase the 24v battery to something larger and that in doing so I would need to also buy a new controller to match the number of volts that I will have. From there I can buy a larger motor that would boost my speed up.
Am I right with this idea or is it much more complicated then that to get the speed that I want out of my scooter? Please be very specific at what needs to be done. Thank you.
