How get electric motor to turn off once battery bank is fully charged?

Here is my setup. two 24v alternator producing 300 amps= 7200 watts... An electric motor to run the alternators, it uses 120v @ 5.9 amps= 708 watts. A 10,000 watt charge controller so the batteries don't overcharge. A large 24v battery bank... Two inverters that each produce 37.5 amps @ 120v= 4500 watts for a total of 75 amps @ 120v= 9000 watts.
The electric motor runs off the inverters. The inverter gets its power from the battery bank. The motor runs to spin the alternators and charges the battery battery bank. The thing is that the motor is always running and the alternators are always producing the full 7200 watts. The batteries don't over because of the charge controller. But since the motor is always running, this mean its always pulling power from the batteries. I would like to save this little bit of electricity by somehow getting the motor to stop running once the batteries are fully charged. Does anyone have any ideas on how this can be done?

Use any comparator IC, set the reference voltage into 24 volt to compare the battery full load voltage. Comparator output control a relay. A set of NC contacts in series with the motor. As soon as battery voltage reaches a bit higher than the preset reference voltage, relay kicks ON to shut down the motor.
