peugeot speedfight 2 50cc moped/scooter (2005) restriction question please help!!?

Hey, i am thinking about buying a peugeot speedfight 2 (2005 model). The one for sale has been fitted with a new sports exhaust and been destricted. However, as i am only 16, i need it to be restricted. So would anyone be able to tell me what parts of the moped would need to be changed/removed/added to it for it to be legal for me to ride and approximately how much this would cost me? Thanks for any help

You'd have to ask the current owner, but most likely the exhaust would have to be changed, there would probably be a washer in the variator, and he could have re-jetted the carb too. So you'd need to buy a washer of the correct size (hard to figure out what size though) a smaller carb jet (you'd have to dismantle the carb, and look at the jet to find what size it is) and buy a new exhaust. More trouble than it's worth. But the police don't care if it's de-restricted, just don't tell the insurers. You'll be hard pressed to find a restricted scooter out there, it took me ages to derestict mine.
