If my bike had all this stuff go wrong with it and its only a yr old is it a piece of junk?

Its a gn250 and its around a year and 4 months old. And before you say it yes i know its only a 250 but i saved hard to buy it brand new so i would not have the hassles of repairs for some time.
So far i have had to replace the chain, it blew out the baffle so i had to replace that, the speedometer just died, it needs crashstarting sometimes cos the electric start won't go occasionally so i might have to get a new battery. the usual bulbs needed replacing. Also its rusting already.
I am starting to hate my bike. Do you think i got ripped off? Or is this pretty standard for a new bike?
the warranty lasted a year and everything went wrong right after it expired.
its a suzuki. i got it from the suzuki dealer. i picked it out of the yard where they had all the imports.
yes i had all the services done. the guy who sold it to me was the owner and he was a complete prat. maybe i should sue them.

return it when you can...sounds like you got ripped off!!! chain shouldn't need replace until years & years & years of riding especially on a 250cc....I hope you bought it from a dealer just trade it back and get something else better
