Ezip 500 Electric Scooter Problem, Please Help!?
I recently got a Ezip 500 off Craigslist and when I start going and I hit a certain speed, the scooter shuts off and I have to restart it. I charged it the required 8 hours but it still happens. What is the problem and how do I fix it? Thanks.
I have the Schwinn Currie Tech S-750(500-watt)Electric Scooter..
The scooter will shut-down if you coast--for about 30-seconds--THAT's its Power Saver Circuit--
Sometimes its more sensative--than at other times..
My scooter is a 24-volt..500-watt/
Charge Time=about 6-hours..

I did have a problem when it was delivered..
The 40-amp FUSE Holder..in the battery compartment..
Had a loose fitting FUSE..in it..I needed to "bend" the spades slightly--to tighten its connection..
Its easy to feel the loose(jiggle)--of the FUSE..
It did cause some..inter-mittent..(what's that)..as I was riding..
But the scooter is really well made.
